I have been meaning to take photos of our apartment after our furniture arrived to show you what it looks like, but I kept forgetting – sorry! Well, I finally remembered the other day so I thought I’d better post them up now or else you’ll never get to see these photos. Our apartment is definitely not big, but it’s pretty spacious for HK standards and we have been trying to keep furniture/toys to a minimum so that we don’t clutter up our little shack!
Here’s our entryway, living room and dining room area and it’s actually quite spacious.
The apartment has a good flow. Right behind the living room are the bedrooms. We have 3 bedrooms: one on the left with all the laundry is our guest room, AKA laundry room and changing room; the one on the top right corner is our bedroom. If you look closely, you’ll see that on the right side of the photo there is a door. That’s how small our bedroom is! We can’t even open the door all the way. I guess our bedroom is really JUST for sleeping. And then there’s the girls’ room. I think they have the best room. It’s nice and cozy and just the perfect size for them and they love being roomies. As you can see, Miss. Sienna was trying to show off for the camera by climbing on the rocking horse – so naughty!
Left: our little galley kitchen. It’s actually a great kitchen and super efficient and great usage of space, but as you can see, it’s tiny. Middle: this is the master bathroom. Even though our apartment is small, but the plus side is that we do have 2 full bathrooms (no bathtub though – bummer!). I only took a photo of the bigger bathroom because the smaller one is nothing to brag about. Yes, it is a full bath, but gosh is it tiny. You can literally sit on the toilet, grab the toilet paper and wash your hands at the same time. So, yes, you can be super efficient if you’re in a rush. Right: photo of the hallway where the bedrooms are and you can see all the way to the front door.
All in all, we’ve been pretty happy with our apartment. It’s in a great location with a huge mall and lots of options for grocery shopping. We are literally right next to a large park and Sucheng is only 10 minutes from work. Nothing beats having him for lunch when he has the time to come home to share a meal with us!

Nice pictures, Wendy. Thanks for sharing. I see that Sucheng finally got his big TV?
