Having my mom here for the week was totally fabulous. Between Sucheng going to all his school presentations at night and me going to Boston for work last week, we were lucky to have my mom here to help. Cadence had a wonderful week with Grandma Lee. Unfortunately the weather wasn’t all that great (drizzly and foggy most of the week), but they did fit in a few long walks. My mom loves to walk outside, so she and Cadence ventured around our neighborhood and picked up walnuts and other sorts of nuts along the way. They had a blast. My cousin Kin from California came to visit as well last week and we took a day trip to NYC. Cadence stayed with my mom and her friend in NY and I went shopping with Kin. We’re so cool - shopping in the Big Apple for the day! We all had teary eyes when grandma left for Boston yesterday :( Hopefully she’ll come back again soon.
